[Top Background]
Greg Reigel

Greg is an aviation attorney, author and pilot. He holds a commercial pilot certificate with an instrument rating and can fly single-engine land and sea, as well as multi-engine land aircraft. His practice concentrates on aviation litigation, including insurance matters and creditor's rights, FAA certificate actions and transactional matters.

He is admitted to practice law in Minnesota and Wisconsin and advises clients nationally and internationally on aviation law matters. Greg gives his clients information and alternatives so they can choose options that best meet their needs and objectives. The aviation industry is highly regulated and can be very technical, but Greg's experience allows him to "speak the language" and save his clients time and money.

A cum laude graduate of William Mitchell College of Law, Greg is the founder and president of the Reigel Law Firm, Ltd./Aero Legal Services based in Hopkins, Minnesota. He is an Adjunct Professor at William Mitchell College of Law and has taught the Business Law Clinic and Advocacy courses. Greg's articles have appeared in Private Pilot, The Midwest Flyer, the Lawyer-Pilot Bar Association Journal and the American Bar Association's Air and Space lawyer. He frequently speaks to groups on aviation and business law issues.

Greg is a member of the AOPA Legal Services Panel, secretary of the Minnesota Aviation Trade Association and a member of the NTSB Bar Association, National Business Aviation Association, Minnesota Business Aviation Association, ABA-Forum on Air & Space Law, Lawyer-Pilot Bar Association and Experimental Aircraft Association.
