Greg Reigel
Greg is an aviation attorney, author and pilot. He holds a commercial pilot certificate with an instrument rating and can fly single-engine land and sea, as well as multi-engine land aircraft. His practice
concentrates on aviation litigation, including insurance matters and
creditor's rights, FAA certificate actions and transactional matters.
He is admitted to practice law in Minnesota and Wisconsin and advises clients
nationally and internationally on aviation law matters. Greg gives his clients
information and alternatives so they can choose options that best meet their
needs and objectives. The aviation industry is highly regulated and can be
very technical, but Greg's experience allows him to "speak the language" and
save his clients time and money.
A cum laude graduate of William Mitchell College of Law, Greg is the founder
and president of the Reigel Law Firm, Ltd./Aero Legal Services
based in Hopkins, Minnesota. He is an Adjunct Professor at William
Mitchell College of Law and has taught the Business Law Clinic and Advocacy courses. Greg's articles have appeared in Private Pilot, The Midwest
Flyer, the Lawyer-Pilot Bar Association Journal and the American Bar Association's Air and Space lawyer. He frequently speaks to groups on aviation and business law issues.
Greg is a member of the AOPA Legal Services Panel, secretary of the Minnesota
Aviation Trade Association and a member of the NTSB Bar Association, National
Business Aviation Association, Minnesota Business Aviation Association,
ABA-Forum on Air & Space Law, Lawyer-Pilot Bar Association and Experimental
Aircraft Association.
